Thomas Dambo (Odense, Denmark)

 

Thomas Dambo (b. 1979, Odense, Denmark) is the world’s leading recycling artist, renowned for his giant Trolls made from discarded materials. Since 2014, he has created over 158 Trolls and 7,000 birdhouses across forests, deserts, and cities in more than 20 countries. His works, including Happy Wall and Future Forest, inspire environmental awareness through creativity. Raised with a passion for upcycling, he engages local communities in his projects. Based in Denmark, Dambo’s mission is “Waste No More”, aiming to build 1,000 Trolls worldwide to highlight the beauty in trash and encourage sustainability through art and adventure.
