The Beauty of Optimism

The Beauty of Optimism

Isaiah Alexander (Texas, USA)

Isaiah Alexander is a 25-year-old Black writer from Houston, Texas, and a graduate of Texas State University. His work has appeared in Boudin (McNeese Review), Cozy Ink Press, Ribs Magazine, Everscribe, Moss Puppy, and Driplit Magazine. Much of his writing explores how people inherit absence, memory, and identity, and how these human struggles mirror the natural world. He explores these themes on his Instagram (@theebadwriter) and he is especially interested in the intersections between ecology and human experience, the way landscapes carry both beauty and grief.
