Akumbu Uche (Nigeria)

Akumbu Uche is a journalist, creative writer, and performance storyteller from Nigeria. Her fiction and poetry have been published in Aké Review, Brittle Paper, Canthius, The Cincinnati Review, Engaging Borders Africa, Konya Shamsrumi, Sprinng, and Stony Thursday Book, among others. She was a finalist for the 2025 Evaristo Prize for African Poetry.
