Madhumaya A.K. is a Literature and Philosophy undergraduate in NUS. Born and raised in Singapore, they are interested in issues of coloniality, ecology, reparative justice and liberation. Their investment in the arts lies in their expansive, re-imaginative, reparative and sense-making potential. They are a lover of the natural, vital earth that many of us have been made to become so estranged from. In the slower moments, where the whispers of wind-graced leaves and insect wings become visible to the ear’s eye, the sound of this breathing returns them to their place in the family of things.
